In 2007, the Scottish Government identified a number of key sectors which offer high-growth potential and the capacity to create economic impact for Scotland.

The creative industries is one of these key sectors and the Government placed an emphasis on the digital content and technologies currently coming out of Scotland.

To that end, there is a plethora of supportive organisations which provide funding, general business advice and support to businesses working in the creative industries.

There's rent free office space with business support services at The Hub at Pacific Quay, for digital-start up businesses in Glasgow. 

Creative Clyde is delivered in partnership with Scottish Enterprise, Glasgow City Council, Creative Scotland, BBC Scotland, University of Glasgow, Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC), STV, Raise the Roof Productions, Glasgow School of Art, Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, Film City Glasgow, and Glasgow Science Centre.
