What makes the Southside Film Festival unique is the fact that
there is no cinema in the Southside so the festival screening
venues are pubs, clubs, halls, artist studios and other community
venues. Which means Southsiders will be able to see films not only
on their doorstep but in places where they will least expect
it.
At the 2012 festival, there will be two awards - one for Best
Southside Short Film and one for Best Southside Feature film.
As well as film screenings there will be a series of film
related events including workshops, awards, discussions and
Q&As with filmmakers and actors.
