Samsung on the hunt for new startups

Samsung had some very nice toys to show off at this years Consumer Electronics Show (CES), including some swish new QLED TVs, a range of branded Chromebooks, and a brand new “all in one” PC that’s not even been shelved for market release yet. One announcement that is sure to excite any budding entrepreneur or young startup was the news of the Samsung NEXT Fund.

The fund is a $150 million project that’s seeking to support and invest in all the best of emerging tech. Having already reached into their deep pockets for everything from VR animation to podcasts to AI for plumbing, they’re clearly open minded and broad in their search.
