City Centre

In addition to Creative Clyde there are also thriving creative clusters within the west end and city centre including:

The Briggait

A great deal of work has gone into repairing the Briggait's historic fabric and upgrading the rather magnificent building. It's now home to over 70 visual artists and cultural organisations.

South Block

Once a textiles warehouse, South Block is now a creative space for artists in the heart of the Merchant City. With 50,000 sq ft of space, there's studio and office accommodation for up to 96 people - this newcomer is already proving very popular.

Trongate 103

For all you arty types out there, this is one special deep, down and dirty art gallery and studio space, all merged into one.

The studio complex within Trongate 103 is provided by Glasgow Independent Studios. The fourth floor complex provides secure and high quality studio space for up to 36 artists.  The individual studio spaces, designed to bring in as much natural light as possible, are complemented by communal spaces that encourage this support.

Creative Clyde is delivered in partnership with Scottish Enterprise, Scottish Development International, Clyde Waterfront, Glasgow City Council, Creative Scotland, BBC Scotland, University of Glasgow, SECC and private enterprises.
